NBCC Happenings (When, What, & Where)

IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION (new letter and list below updated May 7, 2020,
11 p.m.):

Brothers and Sisters in Christ at New Beginnings,

As the month of May progresses, the worldwide topic is the relaxation of strict protocols.  The state and city have moved in that direction and NBCC would be in step to do the same – in a safe and prudent manner.

While Florida is the third most populated state, we are down to eighth in active cases of Covid-19.  The ratios of infections and deaths per 1000 of the population are lower than many states.  Considering the state’s most infections are in south Florida – the ratios are even lower for the rest of the state, including here in Tampa Bay.

Our Drive-In service has given us flexibility that has met our worship needs and allowed us to come together as a stronger church body.  The Elders feel it is now appropriate to plan the move back into the church building in a controlled manner for those that choose to worship in the sanctuary.  Due to required social distancing, seating will be spaced for safety.   Members of households and families may sit together, but others will need to be separated by the six-foot distance.  Please feel free to continue with the weekly Drive-In service during this time if you so choose. Many of you have grown to love it!

Below is an “estimated” timeline and the suggested manner to handle the process.  This is not “all inclusive” and will evolve as we progress.  The Elders will continue to communicate readily and listen to your ideas and concerns. Thank you for your patience and support.

A reminder – the radio settings for the Drive-In are 103.9 and 88.7 Our Drive-In services are available on the New Beginnings website (newbeginningscctampa.org) by 1:30 PM each Sunday afternoon, if you choose to view or worship in that manner.

We look forward to seeing you Sunday!

God Bless You,

Brent Diehl – Chairman of the Elders
