NBCC'S Food Pantry

Food Pantry has reopened and is accessed off the parking lot in the Family Life Center.

NBCC’s food pantry distributes food every Tuesday from 9 - 9:30 a.m. to those less fortunate. In these tough times, the response continues to grow. Weekly, we need to replenish the pantry; therefore, we are in continual need of canned goods and non-perishable foods. Monetary donations are also accepted to supplement the non-perishable donations.

We truly appreciate the many donations of food, money, labor, and prayers that have gone into this much-needed ministry. We realize that some of those benefiting from this ministry may abuse it in various ways. But over the years, we are thrilled to hear that the vast majority of those receiving this food are so thankful because they simply don’t have the mans to provide for themselves. Receiving this food allows them to use their money for payment of utilities, rent, gasoline, etc.

Without YOUR regular donations, this ministry would cost the church about $600 per week. In addition to the generosity of YOUR donated items and money, the church still spends another $250-$300 per week. Again, we thank YOU for your integral participation of this ministry. We feel that we are answering Jesus’ challenge to help care for the poor and homeless. YOUR continued support is very much appreciated.

Donations can be dropped off at the NBCC Office Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (except from 12 – 1 p.m.). Donations are also accepted Sunday mornings from 7:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Faith Promise 2020-2021

“Around the World and Across the Street”

The Mission Committee normally meets on the second Sunday of the month about noon (directly following the 10:30 Service) in Room 101. They are not meeting at this time due to COVID-19. Stay tuned for further information as to when the meetings resume.

What is Faith Promise?

A Faith Promise is a giving commitment made to God based not necessarily on what you already have, but on what you believe God will provide for you to use in worldwide evangelism. Each person is challenged to give “As he has purposed in his heart” (II Corinthians 9:7).

A Faith Promise is a personal agreement with God in which you promise to trust God to faithfully provide you with the funds to regularly support the worldwide mission’s efforts of New Beginnings Christian Church. The church will keep accurate records to confirm contributions for tax purposes, but in no case will the church solicit or remind any person if a Faith Promise commitment is not kept! The Faith Promise encourages systematic giving, based upon each person’s faith and trust in God’s provisions.

Passport Required

To participate in any mission trip outside the United States, you must have a valid USA Passport and that passport must be valid for 6 months after the scheduled return dates. If you don’t have a passport, apply ASAP for a passport.
