NEXT is a community of young adults (18-30, married and single) who choose to live according to God’s word. They embrace their identity in Christ as they grow in faith, meet new friends, and serve others. The needs of young adults are focused on with interactive discussion and time in God’s word.
NEXT is going to Scott’s Maze in Mount Dora, Florida on Saturday, November 21. They’ll leave NBCC at 10 a.m. and return early evening (farm closes at 5 p.m.). Cost is $12 per person (under 3 free) Contact Melissa Joyner (813.777.6342) by Thursday, November 12, if you plan on attending as tickets must be purchased ahead of time due to COVID restrictions. Masks are requested.
NEXT is also starting a new 6-week RightNow Media Bible Study on Sunday, November 1, during the 9:30 a.m. Sunday School, Not a Fan by Kyle Idleman. All adults (18-30) are invited to join them in Room 106 in the Courtyard.
NEXT also plans to go to St. Pete’s Lights in the Park on Saturday, November 28, if it’s held. They’ll go to the Vinoy and end up at Straub Park for the two mile walk of Christmas Lights and Tree Lighting! Keep an eye out on Facebook for information (NBCC NEXT group).

Our ladies generally meet at 6:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month. Our meetings are held in the Family Life Center (or Gym) of NBCC. All ladies who attend NBCC, their family, co-workers, and friends are invited. Our 2020 Theme is “Women Connecting…with Christ, with Each Other, with our Community”.
We are resuming our monthly gathering on Thursday, November 12, when we will be “Thankful Together”. We WILL NOT have a meal, only snacks will be provided, and there is no charge for this gathering. We will have a safe gathering, promoting social distancing. At this time, masks are required. Ladies, join us and have fellowship with your NBCC sisters.

Monday & Thursdays, at 5:15 p.m. in Room 105 in the Education Building (by Courtyard). This is a Low-impact “walking” workout for all ladies of all ages. This is CANCELED until further notice. Stay tuned for more information.
NBCC wants all individuals to be able to “hear” the Word of God. Using ASL (American Sign language) we have interpretation for those Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Hearing during our 10:30 Inside Service and our special Easter and Christmas programs. Also, our Signing Class meets on Wednesday nights at
7 p.m. in Room 102 (canceled at this time). They performs specials during our Sunday morning services and meet socially throughout the year. Please email us if you would like more information about our Deaf Ministry. Interpretation is being done at our 8:30 Drive-In Service until the 10:30 Inside Service resumes.
Our Men’s Fellowship normally meets for breakfast on the second Saturday of the month. They have breakfast (donations appreciated), followed by a devotion. After that, some projects around NBCC are worked on. The Fellowship is CANCELED until further notice. Stay tuned for more information.
Widows & Widowers
The Group meets for dinner on the last Thursday night of each month. The dinners are CANCELED for the time being. Stay tuned for more information.
