Senior Singles' Ministry

Senior Singles' Ministry

We are going to the movies at West Shore Mall. We’ll leave NBCC at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, to see “Where the Crawdads Sing”. From the best-selling novel comes a captivating mystery. “Where the Crawdads Sing” tells the story of Kya, an abandoned girl who raised herself to adulthood in the dangerous marshlands of North Carolina. For years, rumors of the “Marsh Girl” haunted Barkley Cove, isolating the sharp and resilient Kya from her community. Drawn to two young men from town, Kya opens herself to a new and startling world; but when one of them is found dead, she is immediately cast by the community as the main suspect. As the case unfolds, the verdict as to what actually happened becomes increasingly unclear, threatening to reveal the many secrets that lay within the marsh.

If you have a present for Baby Everett, this will give you time to drop it off at NBCC and get the bus for the movie. We will eat lunch after the movie at Grimaldi’s pizza.

Please contact Tracey Porath or Sara Sharp for more information about the PrimeTimers.

Deaf Ministry

Deaf Ministry

NBCC wants all individuals to be able to “hear” the Word of God. Using ASL (American Sign language) we have interpretation for those Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Hearing during our 10:30 Inside Service and our special programs.

They normally meet on Wednesday nights at 6:45 p.m.in Room 102. However, they are on summer break until August 17!

They perform specials during our Sunday morning services and meet socially throughout the year. Please email us if you would like more information about our Deaf Ministry. Interpretation is done at our 10:30 Inside Service resumes.
