The “Lost Until Found” Ministry was founded by brother Jerry Carlson, a member of New Beginnings Christian Church, in 2006 to assist the homeless population of Tampa, Fl. This originated primarily through a feeding and clothing street program. The ministry  works hand-in hand with other churches and organizations to pool resources such as; free haircuts, and purchasing transportation tickets and bus passes.

NBCC is discontinuing the monthly “Lost Until Found” feeding program downtown. Three years ago, we were the only group feeding the homeless…and now there are three other ministries duplicating our efforts. We have added a successful Tuesday morning feeding program. Also, we are putting a concerted effort (volunteer and financial) into the new Angel Food Program, held the last Saturday of each month. We hope that many of the NBCC family will be involved in this much-needed Angel Food program of making healthy food available for so many people. Please see the “Bread of Life” page for more information regarding Angel Food and the Tuesday morning Food Pantry.
